Srinagar, Mar 08 (KNO): The Jammu and Kashmir government has approved 153 projects worth Rs 1,665.10 crore under AMRUT 2.0, focusing on water supply, sewerage management, and the rejuvenation of water bodies, as per the document of the year 2024-25.
The document, accessed by the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), states that 127 Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) have been prepared, including 73 for water supply, 4 for sewerage & septic management, and 50 for water body rejuvenation.
Tenders for 88 projects worth Rs 773.37 crore have been floated, including 63 water supply projects costing Rs 403.39 crore and 22 water body rejuvenation projects.
“36 projects have been allotted at a cost of Rs 69.71 crore, including 15 water body rejuvenation projects and 4 water supply projects,” it states.
